Education and Skill-building:

This program unit at ORD focuses on primary children's education and empowering adults/individuals and communities by developing practical and marketable skills for employment and self-employment. Major execution strategies ORD adapts in this program are supporting formal, informal, inclusive, distance and home-based education, teacher training, and emergency education. This unit supports individuals and communities through vocational training, digital literacy and technology skills, entrepreneurship education, and financial literacy. To date, ORD has executed 13 projects in 8 provinces of Afghanistan. In this sector, ORD enabled 18800 children with access to basic education and 8560 adult men and women with skill training and tools.
